Emma Danchin
Emma Danchin has been practicing massage & shiatsu at Ki viva for the past 8 years, with great passion and focus! She originally studied Chinese Massage and then broadened her knowledge with in depth studies of Shiatsu. To complete the circle and offer the best of East & Western approaches, she then completed her Remedial Massage diploma. Along the way, she has also practiced Reiki and Traditional Thai Massage, Lomi Lomi Hot Stone Massage and Indian Vibrational Healing techniques ('Samvahan'). She has undertaken specialist courses in pregnancy and post natal work, both in massage and shiatsu.
What I do best is tune in to the needs of your body and feel the necessary release. I hold the space for you to let go and connect with a deeper part of yourself. Through rythym and by applying technique, you will feel a sense of trust develop and allow yourself to relax deeply, both body and mind.
On July 8th 2008, I was initiated into motherhood with the natural & home birth of my daughter Saaci. This experience has enabled a greater empathy with my pregnant and post natal clients. It has also re-kindled the flame of my passion for my work as I find great joy in being present in the healing space.
I am now managing the Studio and practicing on Thursdays til late and alternating Friday & Saturday mornings.
